I enjoyed the classes offered and nearly all my teachers. I found that if I needed help with anything I always had plenty of resources to choose from.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I felt like the only way to really be able to find social options was to live on campus which I did not. I didn’t make any friends in the 3 years I was there.
ASU is an excellent, innovate university with so many degree options to accommodate changing vocation paths (believe me, it happens many times!). The only thing that I do not like about ASU are their math and physical science programs; tutoring for them takes ages! Other than that, I highly recommend becoming a Sun Devil.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Tutoring is free, but it can take forever to have a tutor. Math and physical sciences are of particular concern.
The professors are very insightful and genuinely try to help students achieve their goals. While I wish there was more shade around the hot summer months, the cooler months are beautiful and perfect to study outside. ASU Tempe is exciting and fun as well as incredibly educational not just in academics but in life after college as well.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I wish there was more shade in the hot months!! Whoever thought palm trees were enough shade in 110-degree weather need to reevaluate! Other than that, I wish closer parking was available because walking a mile to class in the hot months sucks.
The campus was easy to navigate. The professors were very knowledgeable in their field. The weather was a big plus. Off-campus parking was very reliable with their shuttle service.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Some foreign professors were not easy to understand. Their English was not clear.
