I have always been dedicated to teaching younger children and having my youngest brother entering school, it gave me that opportunity to fulfill my passion. It didn't just give me the opportunity to teach one kid but my brothers friends would come over and ask me to teach them how to read more. Although I have this enthusiasm to teach, a big factor has been holding me back- money. I come from a family where its considered middle income but is actually struggling to even bring food onto the table. My oldest brother is a drug addict and has brought my family hardship and debt. This lead to my mom to obtain a second job and another smaller job at Mary Kay. Although my mom wants me to focus on my studies more than work, I was given the opportunity to help sell cosmetics and get some extra money for my family. It isn't much but this taught me to be grateful for what i have and that theres always another solution. I am determined to go to college no matter what is put into my path and I have never given up. I'm still alive for a reason and I plan to use my enthusiasm to teach to help my future students there's always options.
