My name is Lana Markale Gass, I am 18 years old, I am Cherokee and I am part of the Cherokee Nation. I play softball, it’s my favorite sport, although I play basketball as well. I am from Tahlequah Oklahoma, I go to Tahlequah Sequoyah High School, and I am currently a senior, class of 2020. I enjoy being with my friends and family. I love going to the beach and going to travel for vacation. Both of my parents are still in my life, they are divorced but they get along well and remain friends. I have a younger sister named Ansley and a younger brother named Drayden. My ultimate career goal is to get a degree doing what makes me happy and something I would be happy doing for the rest of my life, something I would have no problem waking up in the morning to do for the rest of my life. Working hard in the classroom getting a good GPA and a good ACT score so I can pursue my sports career and get a degree for a major i want to go into. I see qualities in myself that others do see and others sometimes don’t see. I am very hardworking and when I put my mind to a task I word on it till it gets done. I will always do my best in anything and everything that I do, because if I don’t do my best or work hard trying to get what I’m working for then why am I even here? My time is something very valuable to me, so you never seen my waste any, I always use it very wisely. That is one of the many strengths I have, I also have dedication, loyal and very outspoken, I can use those to my advantage and they help out a lot in some cases. My weaknesses on the other hand are something I struggle with, but I’m trying hard to overcome. Everyone has a weakness, and I have a lot, but the main ones would have to be patience, creativity, public speaking and that I easily get bored.
