My name is Jenna Simpson and I'm a transfer student at the University of Oregon majoring in landscape architecture. I've lived in Portland, Oregon my whole life and I attended Portland Community College for my freshman year of college to get the majority of my general education classes out of the way and for cheaper before making my way to Eugene, Oregon, where I transferred in as a sophomore. My degree is 5 years long, so even though I'm at sophomore standing, I'll still be on campus for the amount of time that a traditional student is. I have a passion for photography, art, indoor rock climbing, and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and camping, and I think that's why I'll enjoy my major so much. It combines a large majority of my favorite interests and hobbies into one. I'm excited to see where it takes me in the near future, as I've already met a plethora of people who do the same thing as I do and they seem to love what they do.
