I want to study dental hygiene to become an orthodontist because I love to see the progress of teeth becoming the way it’s supposed to be. I am determined to work hard and earn what I deserve. I grew up in a not so fortunate family, my mom works hard just for me and my brother live a good/decent life. It’s harder to pay for college finances, that I have the requirements for but not the finances. Teens like me work hard to keep our gpa’s up but don’t have the finances to go to college unless we have scholarships. College puts a debt not only on the teenager but on their family, scraping for money to go to a college where they don’t deserve to struggle. I am a great candidate because I’ve been keeping my gpa to a 3.5 or higher with a cumulative of 3.8. I am in National Honors Society, in NHS we create school activities and events, volunteer to help our community and bring our community together as one, we tutor our fellow peers in any and every subject during lunch and after or before school. Being in NHS means to be in good standing such as respecting others, ourselves, and the property around, keeping our grades up to 3.5 or higher, and showing a true leader as a scholar around our community and school. Those are the requirements to being in NHS.
