I'm an minority from a single parent home, living in poverty. I cant say i'm the poorest but struggle is too normalized at this point in my life. I aspire to be an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor because, as a kid, I experienced ear problems that crippled my life. My ear was would overproduce into this blood like liquid consistency that smelled like death. Whenever I attended school I limited social interactions or I would stand a far distance away, to make sure no one smelt it. Furthermore, I also had severe earaches no medication could solve-like all my ear problems. Not to mention my ear wax would excessively dry, vacuum sealing my hearing. I'm determined to find solutions to problems I had that I know other children or grown ups had or will have. I also want to bring diversity to this career considering there are only white doctors in the vicinity of my neighborhood and other neighborhoods. My future generations of family members will not experience poverty because its something no one deserves, its a lifestyle but it stops with me-there's too much money in the universe for me its just time to obtain it.
