I am an out-of-state student at Villanova University, studying political science and spanish. I plan on going to law school and pursuing a career in immigration law or government policy in the future. While this university has given me an incredible college experience and will undoubtedly set me up for success in the future, it has also given me a tremendous debt load. My freshman year I was given a generous scholarship. However, it has not been offered to me again. The school waits until July to tell me about my financial aid offerings, which makes me unable to transfer. I am involved on campus, as a board member of my choir, the Villanova Voices, a senator in the Student Government Association, a volunteer during the Special Olympics Fall Fest, and a member of the Pre-Law Society. I have 3 semesters left, and desperately need some assistance to make sure that I can attend law school and achieve my goals.
