Monique Ezeh (they/she) is a multidisciplinary writer, activist, and student based in New York City. Their main areas of creative work are poetry, creative nonfiction and journalism, and screen- and stage-plays. Monique will be graduating with Honors from New York University in May 2023, where they study Politics with minors in Journalism and Creative Writing. Monique is currently a staff writer and social media coordinator with NYU’s chapter of Her Campus and contributes to several university publications, such as Cooper Squared and Pavement Pieces. She publishes poetry and short prose on her social media accounts and in independent literary magazines. Her work has also appeared in New York Magazine’s Bedford + Bowery. In June 2021, Monique self-published her first collection of poetry: Relationship Anarchy. She wrote and produced a play (Sic Transit) that ran in the New York Theater Festival in November 2022.
