My name is Anna Shoenberger. I am originally from Haiti. I am very passionate about medicine and the human body. I am currently in the process of joining the Army National Guard as a Surgical specialist. My goal in life is to be the chief of surgery in the Army. However, I am not sure if I want to go active duty in the future. While living in the United States, I have been blessed with countless opportunities. I lived in a stress-free home with loving parents and brothers and sisters. I was also able to attend school. And I am currently working on my bachelors degree. I am also gifted with basic human necessities such as food, water, clothing and shelter. This may not seem like a big deal to the average American, but these are things that are extremely difficult, if not impossible to possess in a third world country like Haiti. I have a great passion to serve and give back to the country that gave me more than I could have asked for.
